[Healeys] Fuel Pump Boot

I bought the rubber boot (Moss# 282-015) for my BN2's fuel pump. Now, 
I'm having second thoughts on installing; concerned it may cause the 
pump solenoid to overheat.  Anyone using one, and, if so, have you 
experienced any issues?
