I always asking myself why people going for these bronze type guides on a cast iron engine? There is no gain in power, only a gain in risk. Once your engine lost its water on a straight your valves get stuck from overheating and shrinking of the guides. Bronze guides are very good in an aluminum engine but I don't see any profit on a cast iron one. More risk, more costs, more oil consumption with the larger clearance.
