I'll send some photos of our H6 carbs and heat shield off list to you. We
had to cut a slot into the front of the heat shield for the bell crank in
the linkage to work properly. I'm speaking of the heat shield from Joe A.,
the stainless steel one.

Subject: [Fot] HS6 center pull carb linkage help
I am making progress getting the car back together. The challenge for me is
I
got the car in pieces (and I have never worked on a Triumph before) and it
it
a bit of a puzzle to get it all together. The factor manual seems to be
lacking some detail.
I have a center pull and a heat shield. The way it
appears (it was not hooked up with a heat shield before) it was hooked up
before does not give me enough travel to fully open the carbs. Does any one
have photos or can send me a sketch on how the linkage should be set up. It
bugs me that I am not seeing this. All the other weird stuff I have figured
out so far.
I am still on track to run the Portland and Seattle historics
in July.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!
