While racing today at LRP, I lost the head gasket. Brand new motor, only 2
sessions of time on it. Upon inspection, the rear freezeplug had "left the
building". So my question is this, is it more likely the gasket failure caused
the freezeplug to go or the other way around?
This motor was brand new, and it was put together (dad and myself)
effectively. This motor doesn't leak and it has power so why would the gasket
go so quickly? This is why I am leaning towards the freezeplug as the cause and
the gasket as the effect....
