I've got some low end Sears Craftsman unit, it mostly works.  My main gripe
with it is that the heat control is 5 discreet steps, not continuously
variable.  Many times I wish I could use half a step lower or higher when
doing some task.  Were that I was a better welder I could probably more
easily compensate for this shortcoming.
