If one takes a brand new clutch assembly out of the box and bolts it right
on to ones flywheel, one might assume that the assembly will work. Wrong. In
this case, at least, the clutch plate was sitting in the housing wrong side
out. Yes, and then when one takes the assembly back out of the car and
reads "this side to flywheel" on the side that isn't, reality sets in.
I'm sure this mistake has never been made by any of you, my fine feathered
Friends of Triumph, but now you'll have to pay the price of scoffing my
carelessness. I'll be at Mitty and ready to get even. Beware of the double
downshift at turn 10A.
