Lifters

Good evening'...  I'd just  like to know the  consensus on stock Triumph-Tune 
lifters,
if they're fine or shoud they have a bit of convex applied. I've been told 
that regardless
if the cam lobes are flat are not, the followers should be machined slightly.
What says the esteem panel??
