I've pounded the bejesus out of mine and it just takes it. Ran it out of oil
and wiped the rod bearings--the crank looked new. Revved it to 7300 RPM week
after week and finally broke the flywheel off--crank was fine. From what I
can tell, if you break one, you're really doing something "special".

I've decided my rational rev limit should be 6800 so I have to lift at most
tracks. I need to stick a 3.9 or 3.7 back in. But when I get passed, I tend
not to lift.

I'm on the list for a Moldex, having just broken my balanced, hardened,
stock crank, but if the Moldexs are breaking too, are they really worth
the price? How many others have broken them? Don

Moldex... I had one until I broke it- I won't tell you how fast I turned the
motor at the time.. but, suffice it to say turning that fast is not eeded.
-Kas was right...

Put me down as a purchaser.
