I use the Quafe in the green spit.
I used a GT-6 before and have lots of parts, hardened gears, tailshafts etc.
Because we had trouble getting parts for the black spits GT-6 trans we
converted to TR-7. All it takes is having a spacer made to fit between the
spit bell housing and the TR-7 box. It is essentially the same as the GT-6
but has a longer pilot shaft, hence the spacer. The gears looked slightly
stronger to us but it may be optimistic eyes.
The Quafe is seconds quicker at TWS on the long track for my 1500.
