He was probably braking too late while turning-in! :-)
At the 2000 Nationals, one of the pro photographers caught my Spitfire in a
corner all jacked up like that on my first run, caught me at the same spot
again on my third when I had all four on the ground. The difference -- third
run I had braked earlier and at the photo now I was on power driving through
the corner. And a couple of seconds quicker too!
But the first-run photo is the one I show off because it LOOKS like I'm
really doing something! :-)
