I use a ground test bar to test for alignment. I also use a dial bore gauge in each main brg hole. Even the best shops that Line Hone do not get it as round as the factory. If you use racing RPMs, the flexing that goes on makes exact alignment of the bores somewhat unimportant, but they should be round and of the correct size. If the main brg bores are in trouble, try to use another block. HP |
