I spend a week or two building a full race "A" Type OD, so there are many
things
that you can do. Notice the number of .0000s in the factory specs for the
accumulator bore. You need to think of pressure times volume, with the last
few laps on the warmest day the focus. You also need to know that the oil
from the accumulator relief holes keeps alive the unit, so if you set the
running pressure too high, these holes will not get oil.
I ran a dash gauge and found it very handy, but build it for driver safety @
1000 psi. You have more choices than just the TR3 and 4AIRS accumulator and
spring set ups.
