Subject: Deepened oil pan

Well, my friends,
I am still pursuing the deepened oil pan fiasco. I've learned in retrospect
to use two pans to make one deepened to eliminate one complete joint with its
associated leak points. I've learned that my welder has the patience of a
saint as I return it time and again for pinholes. I've learned that brazing
in the baffle causes fresh pinhole leaks that cannot be fixed by brazing (by
me). At this point I am sending it to the powder coat guy to see if this
process can close these small leaks. Previous requests for information
suggested this was an unknown path so we will all learn together. Let's keep
our fingers crossed...
