I got no scenery pictures because my hands were busy, and minute loss of fo=
cus on road scanning for debris had me hit a rock and blow out a tire / ben=
d a rim, but a wonderful event and great group of eclectic gearheads.
I highly recommend events like this, as in the event of a breakdown there i=
s no shortage of advice. (note the crowd around the Rotary-powered Midget o=
f the route organizer)
Also plenty of groups that run at various paces, so sure to find one that s=
uits your tastes.

I found out on the road that I had missed picking up all the route sheets, =
so when I got to one junction I just stopped and waited until a cool car ca=
me by, (The butterscotch Volvo P1800) then fell in behind them.

Above Santa Barbara, Figueroa Mntn road was way to rocky and rutted for my =
tastes, (and roadster suspension travel) but the rest of the roads were won=
derful.

The guy on the 1967 250cc Ducati did the whole first day mileage, and I thi=
nk did 25% of Day 2 until his hands wore out from all the bumps the first d=
ay.
Truly workin' it at every mile.
