I have a Japanese domestic 69 2000 with solexs and it came to me with a
factory hardtop. It sits right on the rubber trim around the back
opening, mounts with the center rear clamp, 2 clamps by the windshield,
and two screws just behind the doors. The manual has sketches of it in
the how to put it on and off sections (not all that useful to me as I do
not read Japanese). PM if anyone wants images.
At one point I spoke with Mike Kerr at Roadster Restoration (then in
Fremont, CA) about borrowing it and seeing to a new mold, but it did not
happen.
