I was all in on your proposed alternative to the stock three-point seat bel=

ming that you meant a high-mounted brake light on the rollbar.) I wouldn=E2=
=80=99t waste my time or money on that particular feature. High-mount brake=
lights are the single most useless automotive feature ever foisted upon th=

my =E2=80=9969 2000. But the straps were rotten and the buckles were corro=
ded. I got them re-chromed and new straps at Snake Oyl (www.ssnake-oyl.com)=
. Wasn=E2=80=99t cheap, the total was on the order of $600 a couple years a=
go.=C2=A0If I was going to do this again, I would buy a nice after-market r=
oll bar with a center bar. Put in a 5 point system with a rear facing stop =
light. David Premo 67=E2=80=992000 is the ideal setup here. My guess is tot=
al would be on the order of a few bucks more, but much safer all around!=C2=
