I spent several hours talking with Kent on the phone as he was finishing up=
 this car.  Nice gentleman.  No internet.  Initial stages of Alzheimer's - =
he had to keep my number on the refrigerator to remember to call me.  Livin=
g in an area of NM where there are NO roadster mechanics or owners.
It was his wife's car - she passed many years ago.  He rebuilt it in her me=
mory and yellow was her color.  Might be sentimental crap to a lot of puris=
ts or KIA's but all the yellow bits can changed for relatively little money=
.  Cut the guy some slack.
He's had the car for 40 years - since his wife bought it from the Datsun de=
aler she where she worked -  and its dry life history (no rust) is much mor=
e important than his choice of colors. Besides=2C where else have you seen =
a 1967 car with original seats?
