Drove one once - a friends - if a roadster is a go cart, a Griffith is a
skateboard - with a v8 strapped to it - very wild to drive

That was actually a Griffith. It was based on a TVR. They were ugly like
bulldog is ugly - beautiful if you had acquired a taste for it. And yes,
went like stink! You might laugh at it, but don't try to beat it.
