"The problem I'm having is when I start the car the switch
stays
in the start position after the car is running, I have to wiggle the key to
get the switch to spring back into the "on" position"

Sure that the return spring's in the electrical part?
Mine does a similar thing, and I seem to remember
(it's been a looooooong time) that it's the cylinder that
does the return, not the switch...

fwiw,
Toby
