True. But what's really being said is "don't mix cam lobes and rockers".
That is, always keep the same rocker with the specific lobe. If you
swap cams, take the rockers with it. You shouldn't drop a cam - new
or used - onto used rockers, unless you have the used rockers
reconditioned first).
So as long as you swap the rockers with the cam - and don't mix them
up - you should be OK.
