I have just purchased an early 67 1600 race car. It was raced in the Denver
area with SCCA throughout the 80s. Owner's name was Howard Kellogg. Prior to
that it was owned by David Pearson and originally by Ron Hunter. I hear Ron
campaigned this car in the late 60s through Bob Sharp. Ron bought this car
after
it was rearended shortly after initial purchase. The damage was repaired and it
has been a race car ever since. I am going to restore the car to show and to
vintage race with Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing out of Denver. I would like to
create a story board and document this car's history. Might anyone here know
these previous owners or know of this car? I would appreciate any info you can
provide and would be tickled pink if someone has a pic or two so I can
restore the car to early condition/paint, etc.
