Hi, I have a 68 2000 roadster with about a 2 year old gear reduction starter. I bought it new, not rebuilt. I have put in a new alternator in the past few months and I just last weekend put in a brand new battery. The starter just clicks for quite some time before I can get it to actually turn over the motor and start the car. Is it possible that the starter has gone bad already? Are there tests I can run either with the starter in or out of the car? Thanks, David |
