With all that is happening and the shortage of fuel coming up Lou Ann and I
don't feel comfortable making the long trek to the Glen and going through all
that gas for a weekend away. We canceled our reservation at the GOLDEN NIGHTS
INN. So if anyone is going and needs a room there is one available there.
On a side note, during the last "Vendor Wars " about the truck gaskets I
made a joke about a "Roadster Siting in New Orleans" with a dry trunk "Whose
gasket was it." That was a joke before the shit hit the fan down there. One of
my
best friends in the world lives in Gulfport. Lou Ann and I spent New years
with Peter in New Orleans 8 months ago. His wife couldn't make it because she
is
an air force surgeon and was sent to Kabul. She got back last month. I got a
call from them an hour ago. They are making their way to Florida and their
cell phones just went back on. They are driving with 2 loaded 45s. They are
alive.
So please ignore my joke about the "DRY TRUNK"
