Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY) announced today that it is donating $1 million to the American Red Cross. My take: Occidental earned $2,570 million last year so they donated 1/2,570 of their profits which is like a person donating less than $20 if they earned $50K per year. Actually their donation was so low in comparison to their profits my calculator gave me a error message. How big of Occidental. |
