Yes, the orange car that I took to Shasta this year was Wild Bill's 67
roadster.
The car is owned by William Beeler from Modesto, California, and I have about a
month's more work to do on it before it is finally delivered to him.
The car is powered by an SR20DET, and yes, it has an automatic transmission
behind it.
We had a great drive down and back with the car, the turbo sure makes it fun to
drive in the hills, and the auto is nice for cruising around town. I still
favor a manual transmission, but the auto is what Bill requested.
Now that the car is closer to being done, I will post a bunch of detailed
photographs showing all the custom work that was done to it including the
modified, powdercoated frame, our big brake conversion, the new "Classic
Instruments" gauges, and all the little details that make this such a unique
car.
Look for an update soon,
Michael Spreadbury
