After dealing with this on a couple cars, I bought a cheap GPS unit and
made a mount for the dash (Magellan Sportrack Pro, paid $200 a couple
years ago). Now I know exactly how fast I'm going, down to the mile.
Easier than trying to compensate for the differences in rear-end,
engine/tranny, tire, and speedo combination.

Hi all,
The speedometer on my 69, 1600 is off about 15 mph. In 4th gear it shows

about 15 mph slower than I am actually driving. Any ideas?
