1600 value description

Due to interest from many, I will post the info on the motor.



I was told the linkage on the trans needs to be tightened or adjusted.
It shifts nice but linkage is mushy. The engine ran strong and problem
free at 80-85 mph+ both ways to Solvang, plus it is my daily driver.
Strong compression, puffs a little smoke on start up, it was suggested
to me that the valve guides in the head are in need of machining, and
possibly a compression ring might be wearing out.  The compression is a
constant 145 across all four, so I'm not sure.  I guess a leak down
would tell more.  I'm selling it to do a KA swap, otherwise I'd keep it.
It also has a header, and a new high torque mini starter I got from Dean
at Fairlady (Dean you were right, I love that starter).  I'm in Santa
Cruz California (central coast).  As far as cost, I am trying to find
out what it is worth right now, I have heard anything from $65 to $1000,
so I'm hoping someone will shed some light for me. Here is a photo
