R16 + 4-speed trans value (or lack thereof)

I sold a working 4-speed roadster tranny on Ebay a few months ago for a
whopping $10.50! Barely enough $$$ to afford a twelver of Pabst Blue Ribbon
to drown my sorrows! Luckily the buyer was local so I did not have to ship
it.
