It's not as easy as adding another solenoid between the battery and the 
starter. The battery terminal on the starter is where the whole car gets 
its power, so the wires, other than the battery cable on the post need 
to be reconnected to the battery side of the new solenoid. Starter 
solenoids are also not designed to be kept pulled in all the time, just 
for the few seconds that  are needed to run the starter, so a starter 
solenoid won't hold up if it is to be used as a theft deterrent, it will 
overheat and short out (the coil), or at lease melt down.
