Running EM why not just build a tube frame and use light weight formula car
suspension on it. Don't know if you have seen Warren Lavec (SP) cars, his
Corvair Fiat 850 or his new shortly 64 Corvair roadster, both run EM and are
using
a formula car frame. That should save you a half or more of what your looking
for.
