Dear Gang. I have a possibly sad story to tell. Hopefully someone out there
may have experienced the same dilema and offer a solution or perhaps someone
out there may have another use and be interested in purchasing these wheels. I
wanted wider rims but liked the looks of the steel wheels. So I took a set of
wheels to a fellow who widens wheels and had them made 1/2" wider on the
outside and 1 1/2" wider on the inside. I then took them and had them
sandblasted and painted with grey marine epoxy. Beautiful. Then I mounted my
tires and went to put them on the front and found they hit the brake caliper.
DUOOOO! Any ideas how I can still use?
All told I have $400.00 into these wheels. Anyone think they might want to
buy? I would sell them for $300.00. Warmest Regards To All. John
