I have no idea what kind of needles I have in my 1966 1600 SUs but the
car is
running incredibly rich and stinking up the garage where I work. I have
adjusted the needle position with the screws under the carbs.
Before I rip the carbs apart I thought I would see if there are
replacement
needles that might help make it run leaner for my 1,000 mile Iron Bottom
trip
next week.
I fear that a total engine rebuild may be needed, but I just finished
one on
the 2000 and hate the thought of pulling another engine out so soon.
Any suggestions?
