Hello everyone,
I just wanted to report that I got my wiper motor working again. I took it
apart and found that one of the brushes was stuck. So I got a different brush
from a local rebuild shop, filed it down to fit, soldered it on, cleaned
everything up and presto, it works. I think it works better now than it ever
did since I owned the car! So thanks to everyone who gave me advice and/or
encouragement to try and tackle it myself. Also to everyone who offered me a
used working motor, thanks a ton but I won't need one now. It's amazing what
you can fix yourself if you invest some of your time and use some know-how from
your friends!
