R16 Radiators & Fenders

I was just out sorting some parts I have that were not in cars when I got them
and saw two things I need clarification on.

1. On the R16 radiators, I have two different bottoms that the hose connects
to. One is straight out of the radiator and short; the other is a little
longer and angled up. What years fit which radiators?

2. Did the front fenders have a sealant between them and the body (up by the
screws in the engine bay) from the factory?
