OT, engine ID?

  I know it isn't a roadster engine but I have a couple of photos from a
friend trying to ID an engine and he thinks it may be an old Datsun 4
cylinder (He pulled it out of a '37 Chevy?).  Anybody that might have an
idea, please write and I'll send you the three photos.
