Ivan,
The different metals will be OK, IF, you use anti-sieze compound on the threads
for ANY combination of dissimilar metals. This definitely applies to steel
against aluminum, which can corrode and form a very strong bond that may not
break easily. For long bolts through aluminum spacers and other long holes in
aluminum parts, be sure to slather the whole length of the bolt with anti-sieze
compound to prevent corrosion from forming there. A lot of R16 engine owners
have asked how to get their water filler neck off after the stud bolts have
seized to the body of the housing.
Anti-sieze compound is available from almost any auto parts store and should be
used faithfully on all dissimilar metals. I even use it on the threads of my
spark plugs. Make sure you clean the threads on used bolts to remove any
existing corrosion
