The recall stated that the car could experience brake failure if the torque
rod were to break off. I guess it could shear a brake line.
I have the part number for the reinforcement plate at home (although I can't
find my plate right now)
I'll put the recall info and part number on my website if people are
interested.
BTW--is there a time limit for Nissan to perform recall service?
