But as the show tried to say--without actually saying it--who wants an
inexpensive sports car that's also reliable?
Automotive passion and art is apparently made up of of high-revving engines
crapping out in a rainstorm on the way to Florence, or some buzzy right-hand
drive cowl shaker catching on fire when you try to start it.
Face it, Datsun sports cars are simply not art :)

Hey All,
Just watched an hour long show on the History Channel about Sports Cars. All
the way from the Stutz Bearcat to the Miata. As you would expect, the vast
majority of the cars covered were European. Lot's of coverage on MG,
Triumph, Jaguar, Porsche, BMW, Ferarri, Alfa-Romeo and even Corvettes,
Shelby Cobras, and Ford T-birds.
Japanese sports car coverage? 10 seconds on the 240z. That was it.
Oh well, I still think they are the best ports cars ever.
