Great story Victor! Glad those American iron folks appreciate your
beautiful car.
On the vein of the evening ride, the wife and I took a spin to a
not-so-local eatery in Nose-In-The-Air Newport Beach on Saturday evening,
(offended anyone yet?) enjoying the evening air in both directions. On the
way home we got overtaken by a nicely done Porsche 356, who seemed quite
determined not to be re-overtaken by "that loud thing with the grinning
people in it". (I think I saw him gritting his teeth, but it was nite, so
MAYBE I made that part up!) Quite a blast. The Boxster folks try really
hard not to look, try to look as disgusted as they can manage! Such delight!
And another thanks to Pat Horne for the recommendation on checking for fuse
box crust, defintely one from the "little things that cause ya fits"
category.
