Has anyone checked out the timing parts at www.carparts.com? If you look at
that you can find the 1969 Nissan 2000, timing parts section, page 2, you'll
see: Tensioner, U20 Eng. The part number is 95103, made by Clevite. If you
go to Clevite's website, you can find this:
http://www.engineparts.com/motorhead/techstuff/classes/timing/timing-9.pdf,
all their timing parts. Look up that part number and it's described as
Nissan Forklift 1982cc Eng. CF02 Series, but there is also part #9-4074,
Nissan Pass. 1982cc Eng. (1967-70). Anyone contacted them to find out what
these actually are?
Also, I've been emailing a few manufactures in Japan regarding who made the
different timing components, one response that they didn't do it, another
(Tsubaki) responded that they might have and a name to contact regarding
that. I've done that, but we'll see.
Happy Mother's Day!
