Got some parts back today from Van Nuys Plating in the San Fernando Valley.
They didn't lose anything, and seemed to do a nice job. Had 15 parts nickel
plated, three polished and 3 sandblasted. Not show quality, but OK for what I
wanted. Total bill was $218.
I think they are a good source, and they also do chrome and, I think, cad
plating.
Judging by what I have seen in LA plating shops, the only serious plating is
being done by owners of Harleys.
