There is another way using stock Nissan parts.  The early 1600s and almost 
all 1500s had a breather pipe (or road draft tube as they have been called)  
All of the R engines can take it.  There is an odd freeze plug on the rear 
drivers side of the block above the starter.  This is removed and there is a 
boss inside that is drilled/tapped for a bolt.  The breather bolts there and 
goes around the starter to vent below the block.  (of course, to do it 
right, you would want to remove the elbow on the valve cover or use an early 
valve cover.)
