For a '68 2000...

Has anyone scanned in an owner's manual? I'd be willing to do so if
someone wants to sell/loan me one. I found I had a lot of simple
questions that an owner's manual probably would've solved (altho the list
helped too--kudos). Examples: s/brake, the two mini dials, the climate
controls, the fresh air vents (so -that's- where the ice cold air was
coming from this morning), type of motor oil, etc.

What has me stumped are the headlites. Mine broke tonite (one can only
expect so much out of a 33 year old relay) so I'm only guessing pull/twist
is hibeam? I ought to find a schematic. I'm confounded as to how the
wiring works. Can anyone spend 20 words explaining it? How did that one
relay with the four prongs power the lites-- pull sent 12V to the relay &
low-beam lamps, twist removes the ground from the coil diverting 12V to
the other headlight wire?

I had fun putting in a temp fix: a big wire from the battery terminal to a
brand new Hella hi current relay powered off the old headlight circuit.
Whereas the headlights looked like a pair of dim candles last nite, tonite
they look like halogens by comparison. Tres cool! Once I switch over to
a set of GE HO Halogens (best headlight for the buck!) I'll really be able
to see!

I wonder how many other electrical maladies this car has. :)

On the upside... DANG this thing is fun to drive!! (tomorrow marks the 2
week anniversary of its purchase and day 3 of it being legal to drive on
the s
