recently picked up an old Datsun racer's driving suit. what a difference
from what they use today! basically, it's just lightweight khacki color
coveralls with elastic cuffs on sleeves and legs, velcro straps in front at
the waist and to close the neck, zipper down the front and a bunch of cool
patches. too bad it's a medium, tall....won't ever get there in my lifetime.
big Datsun patch on the back. American Flag patch over Ex-Lax patch on the
right arm. no stiching on top seam of the Ex-Lax one so it makes a little
pocket (hmmm....) right chest Bell Helmets over team Castrol over Rice
Rocket Racing patches. left chest Datsun patch over SCCA sports car club of
america over Rick Merrick A+ ( I assume the driver ) over Bridgestone. left
sleeve Racerstore patch over Mikuni Carburetors patch. pretty cool period
piece. driver must have been over 6' tall.
