OK, here is the deal! the second annual Mt Wilson run is ON!
Sunday Oct 7th
Time: 11am. this will give our far away friends plenty of time to get
to LA with out having to get up at 7am on a sunday to get there.
Where: 76 station on the northeast side of the intersection of Angeles
Crest Highway and Foothill Blvd .
You get there either from the 210 freeway or the 2 freeway.
Be prompt as the gas station may not want us hanging around for a half
an hour talking cars. a bit up the road is a great parking lot for
socialising.
Last year we met Jay leno (a former 1600 owner)in his "Rocket"
Mt wilson is the highest spot in LA and well above the smog line.
beautiful roads, long sweeping high speed twisties, (yes, you can get
it out of 2nd gear and wind out your motors!)
Well stop and have lunch up in the high pines.
Last year everyone that went left with big smiles and I'm sure this
year will be the same!
