There was talk about canceling the SEROC trip to Road Atlanta only 4 days
after the attack - NO WAY!! We went, we had FUN, no regrets! Largest
SEROC event yet!! It was a great release we all needed! I guess our
Southern hide is just a little thicker:)

Les says due to lack of interest , because of the events of 09/11/01,
there will not be a CDM show October 13, 2001. I understand people are
apprehensive about traveling and maybe a little afraid, that's also
understandable. What I don't understand is how A WEENIE WAGING PERVERT HALF
A WORLD AWAY, WHO LIKES LITTLE BOYS AND THINKS NOTHING OF THROWING WOMEN
AND LITTLE GIRLS INTO PITS, BURYING THEM ALIVE, IS KEEPING A BUNCH OF RED
BLOODED AMERICAN MALES FROM GETTING TOGETHER AND DOING CAR STUFF. IT'S
AGAINST THE AMERICAN WAY!!
So, please call Les at CDM, say the show must go on. Send in your money
ASAP. For any car person who attends, I'll give them a homemade cookie(from
scratch, none of that box or pre-done crap for Roadster guys and
friends).Should the show not go on, obviously a part of some peoples anatomy
got blown off and maybe they shouldn't be driving a Datsun Roadster. Maybe,
they should be driving a Miata, or one of those cute little Volkswagen bugs.
You know, the one with the bud vase.
Please let me know how many cookies will be needed.
