We had a good time at the SERCA club (SE-R Club of California) BBQ and meet
in Cypress, CA. Four roadsters in all showed up: Tom Prather's red 2 liter,
Andrew Murphy's 1500, Jon Frampton's 67.5 1600 and my 67 1600. The meet
started at 11AM, and by noon about 65-75 cars had shown up. There were SEs
of course, but also a smattering of 280ZX and a nice 240Z. They even drew a
510 with an aluminum V8 installed!
The roadsters attracted a lot of attention as usual, even from the younger
crowd in attendance ("hey, look. You don't have to take the engine apart to
change spark plugs!"). The members were friendly and curious about our cars
and the BBQ smelled great, though none of us could stay to eat.
All in all, a nice morning with a nice group of Nissan nuts. Posted a few
