As I mentioned in a previous post it's amazing how far the "tentacles" of
this tragedy extend into the NY community and how many people are personally
affected by this. Almost everyone I speak to knows someone who is a victim.
Last night we were informed by a SCCA/Vintage racer that 2 SCCA officials
were lost in the plane that crashed in PA. Linda Grolund was the Northern
New Jersey Regional chief of flagging and communications and her boyfriend,
who sat beside her, was the president.
I have been told via email that a former coworker has a cousin who is a
firefighter and he is reported as missing. Last night we heard that one of
the members has a nephew who is also a fireman and is missing.
The list just grows and grows.
It's unbelievable that 19 bastards can cause so much misery.
