Steering box questions

Finally got my parts car unburied and in my own garage.  The steering feels
much better on the parts car, but it has I assume a later model steering box
('70)  My driver is at best guess a 69 (some if it is at least) with what I
assume is the eariler box. They are visibly different.  Are they compatable
(swappable?).  How about the rest of the steering components?
