Hey fellow Datsun enthusiasts! I'm new to this list and new to the ranks of
Roadster owner's, but not to Datsun owner's. I have a highly modified, JTR
style, V8 powered 77 280, and I just acquired a 66 Roadster. Its solid but
in need of restoration. PO started process of installing a GM 299 V6 ( with
a 200 AUTO for gosh sakes), and I bought it with the intent of re-doing what
he started, but doing right. ( I know, I know, it offends the purist in me
too, but much like my Z, its a bang for the buck decision)
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who might have done a V6 Roadster
conversion - someone to occasionally bounce design / engineering ideas off
of. I leanred a long time ago that you can always learn from someone else's
experience!
